Day after “Earth Day.” But why only one day to laud trees and oceans while we still relentlessly burn fossil fuels? Kinda confusing, eh?

But, cool fact: 72% of Americans say global warming is either “extremely,” “very” or “somewhat” important to them personally. And nearly half of us say we’ve personally experienced the effects of global warming. This isn’t a partisan issue. It shouldn’t be partisan in our government. The stats speak for themselves: we must stop burning fossil fuels.

Letting your congresspeople know how important this is to you is the single most useful thing we can do in order to make systematic change. Like that #GreenNewDeal resolution to start...
