Feeling a bit nostalgic ahead of this weekend’s Ultra Trail Mt. Fuji — one of the world’s truly great races. So many good memories and friendships from my trips to Japan, I wish I could be there this weekend. Instead I’ll be following both UTMF and the Madeira Island Ultra Trail online in between short walks around Marin. Good luck to all athletes. Embrace the vision quest. Gambate! 🇯🇵✌🏻
