Confused on how to train properly? Stressed about your summer racing goals? Feeling run down all the time? We can help! Ridgeline Athletics offers a multitude of services, including one on one monthly coaching, customized training plans built specifically for you and your racing goals, downloadable pre-built training plans, phone consults, and one-day training seminars!

What is a training seminar exactly? We have two remaining dates, this Sunday, June 9th in Abbotsford at VPO as a women’s only event, and then on Sunday, June 23rd at Garrison Run Co. in Chilliwack. Full details and registration links via RidgelineAthletics.com

A training seminar is essentially a crash course in all that you need answered in regards to your training, running and racing goals. Most people simply head out the door to run and never really think about how to structure a proper training plan. What is an easy run? What is a hard run? How much of each should you be doing? When and why do you take recovery days? When and why do you take recovery weeks? How do you safely build volume towards your goal race? How do you avoid injury? What is cross-training? Why is it relevant? Should you do strength work? Do supplements work? If so, which are recommended? What lube works best? Will my toenails fall off? Will my family still love me if they do? Why do I even want to do the things that I do? Is doing x-distance too much to strive for this year? How do I prepare for a stage race? How do I select the best gear? How do I get into the Barkley marathons?

We cover A – Z and encourage open floor dialogue throughout. If you’re still trying to piece together how best to tackle your race or fitness goals this year, then a one-day seminar might just be the best money you can spend right now 😊

We start with a classroom component, then head out to the trails for some technique tips, & then gather over some post-run eats to ensure each and every question on the day has been answered. AND, each store provides on the day shopping discounts! AND, we give away CMTS race entries! AND, we provide coffee, drinks and healthy snacks! AND we give away Ridgeline Athletics training plans! AND we have fun doing it!
