Just clicked over 30 mile mark, about 4 hours 25 minutes in, at pace of 160 miles plus but I know it’s better to temper enthusiasm with wisdom. I’m pacing the 3:05 Clifbar pace group in St. George in 2 weeks and my priority is to Clif & the runners to hit the time. In normal years I’m able to bounce back in 2 weeks but with the AT under my legs it’s too great a gamble. Going to of course enjoy encouraging some other runners out here today and some easier circles ahead. Thanks for all the positive vibes today!!
