Not sure if that was a grimace or a smile...

Harvey Lewis - Ultra Runner, le texte de sa publication du 20-08-2018 22:59:48 :
Not sure if that was a grimace or a smile but feels so good to sweat up a storm, returning to my daily routine of the run-commute, gradually rebuilding strength. As much as I love being spontaneous and variety, I see the greatest growth happen with routine. I still feel like I spent 49 days in the wild but gradually rebuilding every week.

Up at 5am, a full day of teaching, actually took a 30 minute power nap after the school day in the back of the class with a yoga mat and my Newton’s as a pillow. A bit like taking one of those power naps right on the trail. On the way home from there; had a positive high five from a fellow Cincinnatian and spurred me to make a few extra miles into Kentucky. I’ve found gradually increasing mileage is the key to recovery, along with nutritious food with lots of plant based options, sleep and plenty of hot baths with Epsom salts.

Really still reflecting on the past summers experience and can’t thank everyone enough for the warm support and encouragements. Thank you! It really means a lot 😁🏞🌎🌳 Newton Running
