Dunkerque- Today in Dunkerque - We has the shortest stage of the tour at 159K. Almost from the start 4 riders drove away drove away with a max of 5 minutes of control from Jumbo. After 70K Cofidis started riding full gas and after 100K everything was back together. A new break formed with 4 guys from Direckt that stayed away until 10km to go.
In the end, both Tom and Mikku were too far back when the sprint started. Matthias did a good job from 5k but Dennis and August could not find each other for a good lead out. Before the end - maybe 25k the group had split with Clement and Rudy at the back so they were not available for the lead out.
In the end, an 8th place finish for Tom.
