Ultimate Direction Giveaway Trivia ⬇️
1st film: Opening the Route, A run through the Dolomites (Link in Bio). This was my 1st film ever & to this day, one of my faves. Totally amateur in every way this film is raw & real.
-June 2013 Jeremy Wolf @jeremywolfrun, Matt Lowe & I decided to go for a 5 day 92 mile running adventure with 30,000 feet of climbing
-Wolf, Lowe and I were college teammates at Montana State Montana State Track & Field & despite living in three different states & having graduated 10 years prior, we managed to pull off this crazy running adventure together. Matt Lowe was living in Washington DC where he was lucky to get 3-5 flat easy runs per week. Matt made every mile, but he was really hurting 😁
- Part of the beauty of this trip was really having no idea of what we were doing. We had no reservations, no map (bought one when we arrived) and were told the entire way that we shouldn't proceed. Somehow we got lucky and were treated with one of the best adventures of our lives
- 💜The Dolomites stoll our hearts. I have been back almost every summer since this trip and it is still my favorite place to run & train. The vibrant Italian culture, wine, trail & road infrastructure in addition to the magnificent reffugio network, makes it one of a kind. My now 8 year old son Felix has done the via ferrata shown in the film!
