My indoor season opener didn’t quite go to plan last...

Kim Conley, le texte de sa publication du 27-01-2019 14:58:48 :
My indoor season opener didn’t quite go to plan last night. After a tentative first half for the entire field, I found myself locked into that rhythm and unable to summon the turnover I wanted to click off 72 and 73 second quarters when the pace quickened up front. At the end of 5000m, 15:44 for 4th place stands as the starting point for 2019.
After a good night’s sleep and some reflection, there are definitely some identifiable things that I would do differently, but those intentions will have to wait for the next competition opportunity. I’m still undecided as to where that next race will be, but I’m happy to have taken my first steps back on the track here in Boston for the New Balance Grand Prix.
The atmosphere in The Reggie was great, as always, and I appreciate all the support there as well as all the messages on social channels.
