Honored and proud of my collaboration with Smartwool.

We began the design process almost two years ago with a brainstorming session at their Boulder office and continued with several prototypes and revisions. Along the way I raced in preproduction versions seven times, culminating with what I consider one of the greatest race of my life, the Leadville 100. I slipped them on at 3am and didn't think about them again until I crossed the finish line a few minutes before 7pm. That's when I knew they were ready.
