Vuelta a San Juan OK stage 4 recap

- start delayed due to heavy overnight rains so roads, etc could drain;
- Eugenio Alafaci and Greg Daniel suffering from stomach issues that have been plaguing some of the peloton. Both able to finish the race;
- big selection (split) happened with crosswinds at 50kms to go and a crash in the 20th position that Peter Stetina was caught in (he's ok) and forced the abandonment of Gaviria (Quick Step-Floors).
- 25kms to go there was a "river crossing" neutralization;
- In the sprint, Giacomo Nizzolo finished in second but was a little disappointed in this result. Said he waited too much.

Giacomo said: "I think it's a good 2nd place after the nightmare of 2017. It's a good way to restart; of course, when you're there you want to win, but we have to take the positive things."
