Another day in the breakaway for Bauke Mollema and Fabio Felline, earning Bauke his third "Most Combative" award.

Bauke also put his nose into the hunt for the overall mountains classification, taking 1st and 2nd place points in two category-one climbs.

Gianluca Brambilla was the highest finisher in 11th place, as he continues to improve in form.

With Giacomo Nizzilo awaiting the upcoming sprint stages, the third week should be exciting for the team!

Bauke Mollema: "In the last 20-25kms we knew the bunch was too close and it was not going to be for [the break] today. I think I am still 3rd or 4th in the mountain pts and there's still 4 guys close together. We will see [what happens] in the last week."

Brambilla: "Every day something can happen here, as lots of riders are tired. I will keep going as my form is getting better, and we will see what happens after the TT."
