Fred, pour ma part, j'ai acheté deux dossards pour Toulouse et j'ai fait changé les noms et envoyé nos certif. médicaux. C'est sûr que NY c'est un peu plus difficile.

Voila le reglement
"Cancel in person (beginning October 30, 2008)
From October 30 through November 1, cancellations will be accepted in person at the ING New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo. Once runners have picked up their race number they cannot cancel.
Early in 2009, all entrants who canceled their entry to the 2008 race will be sent instructions for applying for guaranteed entry by the deadline of May 1, 2009. If you do not receive those instructions, it is still your responsibility to apply before the deadline.
E-mail marathonmailer@nyrr.org if you have questions.
You may not give or sell your race number or timing chip to someone else. Anyone found participating with another person’s number will be disqualified and both people will be barred from future New York Road Runners events, including the ING New York City Marathon."

Astero, effectivement c'est la procédure pour l'annulation, mais il faut se présenter en pesronne au retrait des dossards.
Dans ce cas on bénéficie d'un report d'inscription pour l'année suivante, les personnes concernées seront contactées début 2009. Mais il n'y a pas de possibilité de transférer son inscription comme sur toutes les courses généralement.
Mô, c'est vrai qu'en demandant directement on peut parfois arriver à des arrangements, mais en général sur les grosses organisations c'est impossible, je me souviens en 2006 pour Paris, avec juste vos copies de bons de retrait il avait fallu que je négocie pour avoir vos dossards.

Tu n'as pas besoin de te presenter pour repousser à l'année d'apres
Sur le site c'est possible en te loguant ; etant qualifié au temps pour 2008/2009, j'ai payé 210dollars en mai puis j'ai repousser à 2009 en juillet (je ne sais pas si je ferai quand meme) mais je devrais repayer 210dollars en mai 2009

Your registration fee for the ING New York City Marathon 2008 is non-refundable. You may not give or sell your race number or timing chip to another individual. Ha d'accord, comme c'était écrit " en personne " je pensais que c'était la seule possibilité, pas facile quand on habite loin de NY.
En fait ça permet d'avoir un dossard, mais il faut repayer.
